Muay Thai / Kickboxing Programs

Why try an Adult Muay Thai Class at Arashi-Do?

Muay Thai is referred to as “The Science of Eight Limbs”, as the hands, shins, elbows, and knees are all used extensively in this art.

A master practitioner of Muay Thai thus has the ability to execute strikes using eight “points of contact,” as opposed to “two points” (fists) in Western boxing and “four points” (fists, feet) used in the primarily sport-oriented forms of martial arts.

As well as a proven superior overall striking art, our trainers will teach you history and traditions of this National Sport of Thailand.

This competitive program takes those who want more than hitting a bag, into an intense but safe environment. Learn some good self-defence skills and how to use them in competition or in an emergency. Kickboxing is about getting hit and returning fire, sticking it out and giving it your all when you think that you have none left to give.
