Check out all the fun and trial, tribulations and fantastic training for our 27 members team in Rio de Janeiro for the inaugural CBJJD Tournament!

On August 22, give or take, a number of groups of Arashi-Do Behring BJJ students and teachers took the long trip to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in order to train and then compete at the inaugural CBJJD tournament! 27 of our team members will be competing and they will have a cheering section as some family members went along as well. We have Children's BJJ competitiors, adult competitiors, black belt (Professor) competitiors and every other belt. Team Arashi-Do Behring have been practicing, working their tails off, training, raising funds, and then training some more for this chance to train and compete under the Arashi-Do Behring banner in Brazil, Mestre Behring's home. The kid's classes are full of energy and fun and learning and the adult classes are just a much fun and just as filled with learning. While this trip is about training and upping the game and learning new techniques and skills, it is also about having fun, sharing with the XGym and Rio Jiu Jitsu community, making great memories with family and teamates, and having a great tournament experience. The tournament is August 29 & 30 and I am still working on finding out if there is any way to watch the competition from here in Canada. I'll keep posting updates and new pictures as they come in so bookmark the blog and keep up with the Arashi-Do Behring team in Rio!
