Cost $40 – Please do not arrive more than 30 minutes before your division as space is limited.

We will be having competitions in all programs that Arashi-Do offers.

Check the rules for your divisions and let’s have some great fun. We will start with all children’s divisions first and work our way up in ages and belt rank.

Saturday Feb 23rd

9:00 am   - Kids Karate - ages 4-5

10:00 am - Kids Karate - ages 6 - 7

11:15 am - Jr. Karate    - ages 8 - 9

12:30 pm - Jr. Karate - ages 10 – 11

1:30 pm - Weapons and Team Kata- all ages, all belts

2:00 pm - Teen Karate - ages 12 – 15

2:30 pm - Adult Karate - 16 years and above

Karate divisions – regular karate tournament rules apply, competitors will compete in Kata demonstration and point sparring. 1.5 min rounds

Sunday Feb 24th

9:00 am   - Mini Monkeys BJJ - ages 4–5

9:45 am   - Mini Monkeys BJJ - ages 6-7

10:30 am  - Jr. BJJ                - ages 8 - 9

11:30 am  - Jr. BJJ                - ages 10 – 11

12:30 pm  - Jr. BJJ               - ages 12 – 15

1:30 pm    - Adult BJJ           - 16 years and above

Mini Monkeys – 4-7 year old divisions will be the rolling game, 1.5-minute rounds. No submissions, points awarded as normal, advantages for forcing someone to their back and controlling (simulated takedown)

Jr. BJJ – Point BJJ starting from kneeling or standing - 3 mins for kids, points with limited submissions, and 4 min for teens and adults. Rounds start standing. IBJJF rules apply.

Adult BJJ - IBJJF rules apply, starting standing, 4 mins rounds.

Sunday Feb 24th afternoon Muay Thai

2:00 pm - Tiny Thaigers MT- ages 4-5 and 6-7

3:00 pm - Jr. Muay Thai      - ages 8-9 and 10–11

4:00 pm - Teen MT             - ages 12 - 15

4:30 pm - Muay Thai          -16 years and up

Tiny Thaigers Jr. and Adult Muay Thai – continuous sparring scored by referee and judges at the end of the round. 1 - 1.5 min rounds. -  Kids no head contact, Adults light touch contact

Please note: we may have to split or join divisions together based on how many competitors show up at each different level. This is a great 1st experience for students.  If you have always wanted to try a tourney this is it.
